Customize the structure of your Media Portal so your media is categorized and organized in the way you would like it to be managed by your team, and viewed by media buyers.

Terms to know:

  • Activation Categories: represent the umbrella category that media can be categorized by.  Example Activation Categories may be "In-store", "Digital" or "Out-of-Store".
  • Activation Types: specific media opportunities within the Activation Categories. For example, if the Activation Category is "In-store", an Activation Type might be "In-Store Sampling" or "Aisle End Cap".

Here’s how to access and customize your Media structure:

  • Click on the Manage media tab.


  • Select Media Structure.

  • You can use this page to add and edit Activation categories and Activation types. To add an Activation category, click + Add a new activation category


  • Title your Activation Category and click Save & next to finalize it.


  • To add an Activation Type to an Activation Category, locate the relevant Category, click on the Actions dropdown menu and New activation type.

  • Fill out the Activation type details, including name, internal and external description, rate period, etc.
  • Click Save & add another to finalize the Activation Type.




  •  To edit an existing Activation Category, click the Actions dropdown menu and Edit.


  • To edit an existing Activation Type, select the relevant Category and click Show/edit on the corresponding Activation.
  • To remove an Activation Type, click delete.
